Stay off bridges over fast-moving water.Do not walk, swim or drive through flood waters.Listen to EAS, NOAA Weather Radio or local alerting systems for current emergency information and instructions regarding flooding.If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1. Wait for further care instructions and shelter in place, if possible. Contact your healthcare provider If you are sick and need medical attention.Local responders use them to safely direct traffic out of flooded areas. Zones B, C and X correspond to areas outside the 100-year or 1-annual-chance floodplains, areas of 100-year sheet flow flooding with average depths less than 1 foot, areas of 100-year stream flooding where contributing drainage areas are less than 1 square mile, or areas protected from the 100-year or 1-annual-chance flood by levees.
